(The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has granted a Certificate of Authority to the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin to award the degree Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree with major in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. This certificate is a license to operate in the state of Texas and does not constitute accreditation; the issuance of this certificate attests only to an institution's having met the Board's standards established for non-exempt institutions.)
•    Accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which is the U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting agency for the approval of programs training acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners. (The Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program of the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which is the recognized accrediting agency for the approval of programs training acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners.)
•    Certified by the U.S. Department of Education: Title IV - Student Federal Financial Aid Program to provide low cost student loans and/or Pell grants to qualified applicants
