Acu-thon Fundraiser
06/08/2008Fundraiser for Juliana Cumbo's legal fund
Many of you know that Juliana Cumbo was denied her acupuncture license earlier this year by the Texas Medical Board because she is blind. Over the last several months, Juliana has incurred significant legal fees. AOMA is organizing two fundraiser opportunities to support Juliana in this process. 80% of profits will go directly to Juliana Cumbo's legal fund, 10% will go to the National Federation of the Blind, and 10% will go to the AOMA Alumni Association. Please get involved in any way you can.
June 7th - Intro to Toyohari- Continuing Education event
June 8th - Acu-thon - professional acupuncture treatments in AOMA student clinic
Suggested $50-100 donation, minimum $30. No gift certificates accepted.
