The Mission of AOMA is to transform lives and communities through education, patient care, leadership and research in Chinese and other integrative medicines.

As of April 6, 2024, AOMA will no longer offer its academic programs.

Current students will have the opportunity to continue studies through one of several teach-outs, subject to accreditors and regulatory agency final approval. Information on the teach-out agreements is posted on the school’s learning system, Brightspace,

Students have the option to complete their studies at one of the teach-out institutions or to find another school of their choosing and transfer their earned credits where applicable. for information regarding federal student loan discharges.

Through April 30, 2024, the south professional acupuncture clinic at 4701 West Gate Blvd in Austin, TX and the Herbal Dispensary will remain open. on the clinics and herbal dispensary.

Beginning May 1, 2024, both the south clinic and herbal dispensary will be operated under a teach-out agreement with the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley (AIMC), pending approval by accreditors and regulatory agencies. AIMC will also be the repository for the permanent student records and transcripts for all AOMA current and former students.

OUR PROGRAMS

AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine currently offers regionally accredited master's-level and doctoral-level graduate programs in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, preparing its students for careers as skilled, professional practitioners with a focus on integrative healthcare.

December Virtual Open House and Admissions Info Session
On Tuesday December 5th at 7PM Central, we will be hosting an online tour and Q&A session via Zoom for applicants and prospective students.  Our panel will consist of program directors, student services, faculty members, and current AOMA students giving you the chance to ask more in depth questions about our programs as well as life here as a student at AOMA.
