Ariana Vincent offers Continuing Education classes for Texas Licensed Massage Therapists and Nationally Certified Massage Therapists. A detailed, comprehensive class notebook is provided to each participant without extra charge. To the greatest extent possible classes are designed to be 70% experiential, offering participants the opportunity for hands-on practical experience giving and receiving. A discount of 10% is offered for individual students
registering and paying in advance for two or more CE classes with
Ariana in one year.

Advanced Swedish Massage (Addressing Common Challenges)
This Advanced Swedish Massage Course (Addressing Common Challenges) is designed to enhance and enrich each participant’s knowledge regarding Swedish massage therapy and specific challenges that may be encountered during a Swedish massage session. Topics covered include an overview of Swedish techniques; proper draping techniques, stretches and joint rotations for the client, and step–by–step, easy–to follow protocols for a Swedish massage session. Examples of common challenges that may be addressed include: headache, allergy symptoms, neck discomfort, low back pain, sciatica, plantar tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, and TMJ. In this experiential class, working in pairs, you will have the opportunity to give and receive a therapeutic Swedish massage session as you are guided with individualized tableside assistance.

Breathing Space: Stretching and Breathing for Clients and Therapists
This class offers participants experiential information regarding wonderfully simple processes (stretching and breathing) designed to make life more enjoyable through a coordinated integration of body and mind. Participants are given an opportunity to experience the benefits of stretching and breathing techniques for clients and therapists which combine deep, relaxed stretches with rejuvenating and restorative breathing techniques. Class content includes an introduction to stretching for the massage therapist and the client; types of stretching; breathing during stretching; and stretching techniques designed to increase flexibility and fluidity. This experiential class offers participants an opportunity to experience specific stretches for the client and for the massage therapist. In addition to individual opportunities to experience the freedom of stretching and breathing, during a portion of the class participants will be working in pairs exchanging stretching sessions and experience stretching techniques on the massage table as each person is guided with individualized tableside assistance. Participants are encouraged to slow down, breathe, move, and relax.

Reflexology
This Reflexology class is designed to enhance and increase your knowledge about giving relaxing and effective hand, foot and ear Reflexology treatments. Information is provided regarding Reflexology pressure points, how to give a Reflexology treatment, what happens during a Reflexology session, and the history of Reflexology. Working in pairs, there will be opportunities to experience practical applications of the benefits of Reflexology. Students will receive a complete Reflexology treatment and give a Reflexology treatment as each person is guided with individualized tableside assistance.

Reiki Level One
Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a Japanese healing art that was synthesized into being by Mikao Usui in the late 1800's in Japan. "Reiki" is a Japanese word for the concept: "Universal Life Energy." Reiki helps to harmonize body, mind and spirit. Depending on the level of the students participating in the class, Reiki Level One, Two, or Three (Master Level) will be offered. In this experiential class, participants will have the opportunity to be guided in a system of simple hand positions for Reiki treatment sessions. Working in pairs, there will be opportunities to experience practical applications of the benefits of Reiki as each person is guided with individualized tableside assistance.
