Campus Info Sessions
Prospective Student Weekend March 26 - 27, 2010
Each year, AOMA sponsors on-campus information sessions specifically designed to introduce new students to the MAcOM program. Our information sessions are attended by staff from admissions and financial aid, faculty, academic advisors, and current students. At these sessions, prospective students meet their future professors, connect with their future classmates, get to know the AOMA campus, and learn more about the program.
Information sessions are held on select Sunday afternoons in the summer and fall. Each spring, we also organize a two-day Prospective Student Weekend, during which out-of-town students get to know the city of Austin as well as the AOMA campus. You may RSVP for any of the sessions listed below by emailing the admissions office. Please include the time and date of your preferred session in your email.

2:00pm Reception and Campus Tours
3:00pm Introduction to the MAcOM program
4:00pm Fundamentals of Traditional Chinese
Medicine (Dr. Jamie Wu, VP of Faculty)
5:00pm Break
5:30pm Dinner with staff, faculty, and students
7:00pm Community Movie Screening:

9:00am Morning Qigong & Campus Tours (for those who missed Friday)

We have a limited number of complimentary acupuncture treatments in the AOMA student intern clinic available for attendees. We also have some accommodations with current students available. If you are interested in either a clinic appointment, or arranging a current student host, please contact the admissions office by March 1st so we can make arrangements.
