10/7/19; Acupuncturist, Buda, TX

Position: Acupuncturist & Herbalist - Zoi Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine

Zoi Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine is a comprehensive Traditional Chinese Medical clinic on Main Street in Buda. Our company offers a Functional Medicine approach and specializes in wellness programs. We provide our patients with a complete plan for optimizing their wellness, reversing the progression of disease, and preventing illness.

We have a large liquid pharmacy of individually extracted herbal medicines that we use to create customized herbal formulas for our patients. We have three treatment rooms, an infrared sauna, a lab for our herbal company and two massage therapists. Zoi is seeking a Licensed Acupuncturist who is interested to take their practice to the highest level our profession allows. This position requires that the practitioner is capable of writing their own herbal prescriptions and has a high interest in research.

Zoi Acupuncture hosts its sister company, Zoi Medicinals. We are the creators of our own herbal products and currently sell our products online, in other practitioner clinics and at special events. We are launching a membership program for our products and are currently developing two new lines of medicine for launch in 2020.

The Opportunity :

Learn to run labs : blood panels, hormone testing, food inflammation testing. You will learn to use these as an aid in designing herbal and supplemental plans for your patients as both the TCM function and the pharmacology of plants are integrated in our clinic for patient care

Learn to create comprehensive “patient plans” for your patients, to carry out the plan alongside the patient and to make adjustments as they progress

Learn the holistic, all inclusive approach that Zoi embraces as a way to practice natural medicine with the utmost integrity

Grow a thriving practice alongside two TCM Practitioners who will support you along the way.

Special Notes :

Zoi Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine is not a typical acupuncture clinic. There are very few appointments that last fewer than 60 minutes. We do not wish to cultivate an ”in and out” practice or to offer ”community acupuncture”. We specialize in autoimmune disease, internal medicine, and women’s health. We are looking for a confident and open minded, creative individual to round out our very dynamic team. Once our team members are on board with the culture at Zoi, there is a lot of flexibility for the individual’s practice, interests and schedule preferences. We do not micromanage and seek to hire radically self-responsible individuals who care deeply about their work.

Working in the herbal lab, research and development, teaching opportunities, program development, travel for events are all opportunities offered to you and encouraged at Zoi

Requirements :

It is desired that the applicant has at least 2 years experience in practice, but training is available
Willingness to apprentice under Noa Lynne Sutherland, L.Ac. Owner and Clinical Director
Significant knowledge regarding Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, and willingness to grow in this area immensely
Schedule allowing for treatment of 12-20 patients per week

Payment :

Based on skill level and experience
Starting at $26 - $38 per appointment, 10% of products sold, 35% of other services, cupping, functional consultations, etc.
Growth from 35% of each service to 40% after training is completed
Potential growth to 50% of services

Position: Acupuncturist - Ann Arbor Community Acupuncture

Ann Arbor Community Acupuncture is looking for a full-time acupuncturist! We are a 501(c)3 non-profit clinic in Ann Arbor, MI. We have been growing non-stop since opening in 2015, with 2 acupuncturists providing about 7000 treatments per year.

Our ideal candidate is somebody who is looking to make this clinic their career. The reason we converted to a non-profit was to make our clinic as sustainable as possible, we want acupuncture to be affordable and available to our community for years to come. To do that, our goal is to also provide sustainable employment. Our clinic only works if our acupuncturists stick around. As a non-profit, our clinic is legally a publicly-owned charity organization, which provides a unique opportunity for employees to share responsibility, grow with the clinic, and essentially become a partner in managing the clinic.

This position will start with a 3-6 month probationary period, during which pay and hours are flexible and negotiable. Pay will most likely be an hourly base with an additional per-patient commision. It would potentially be possible to remain on as a part-time employee for longer, but we would prefer for the right candidate to then become a full-time salaried acupuncturist.

-Start at $45k salary. Benefits- medical insurance, 403b retirement plan with matching, paid time off, paid parental leave, malpractice insurance, stipend for CEUs,. Because of our status as a 501(c)3 non-profit, you may also be eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (this depends on other factors but both of our current acupuncturists are 3 years in to PSLF)

Start date- flexible. Skills and additional training- flexible. Community acupuncture experience- preferred but not necessary. We are most concerned with just finding somebody who is the right fit. Must be NCCAOM diplomate, willing to register in Michigan.

Applicants can send a cover letter and CV to info@annarborcommunityacupuncture.com
