Leslie has been involved in one capacity or another with AOMA since its creation in 1993. She was a member of the first graduating class of 1996, as well as the first Board of Advisors (later to become the Board of Governors) where she has proudly served since 1994. She has also been involved with the Texas Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine as President and Board Member since 1995. In addition, Leslie was a program attorney for the State Bar of Texas in their continuing legal education department and has carried her love of education to help develop continuing acupuncture programs in Texas and Costa Rica.
